So when I spoke to Olivia on the phone, I asked what she and her fiance liked to do together. It’s a fair question. Her answer? “Our dog!” They weren’t kidding.

Little Peyton is the center of their universe. She is a bit of a diva and her Mama & Daddy love it that way! So of course she would take center stage in their engagement photography.

I met the couple at Beavertail State Park, known for rugged rocky coastlines and beautiful views of both Newport and Providence. We could see the Newport Kite Festival in the distance as the wind brutally whipped us. It was also quite crowded with people enjoying the amazing summer weather – so there was definitely a challenge working around other people. But that didn’t stop us. We found some amazing nooks and crannies, and fed Peyton more treats than she’d ever had in one sitting. This little pup did amazing work with her tiny little sign – and I have to say I think we became best friends after the shoot.
