We met at a tiny pub near the Boston Public Gardens to down a bottle of wine and the best pretzel bites we’d ever tasted. Nerves were definitely there, as were apprehensions over what the experience might hold. Not a great recipe for engagement photography!
Ashley & Matt weren’t sure what they were in for, but they were in for it. I’d never been to Beacon Hill, let alone shot there. It’s apparently a popular spot as we were negotiating shooting time with tourists and another engagement shoot.
When we realized the location’s popularity, we went off the beaten path a bit, sneaking into alley ways and portals to bring a different flavor to this couple.
I’d been looking forward to working with Ashley and Matt since I booked them – their wedding isn’t until next year, but I wasn’t going to let them get away for another six months without photographing them. I knew it would be a blast and I wasn’t wrong. Photography has its perks and this shoot was one. The textures, the brick, the cobbles, the light, their love… Delicious.
Look for yourself. 🙂
LOVE!!! Beautiful location choices!
Great engagement photography session! Your location at Beacon Hill is gorgeous.
